Time to announce the third Audio Plugin Guy Sample Pack Showcase… available to our mailing list subscribers.

Sampletastic!

Once again, Audio Plugin Guy brings you a tasty pack of sample taster. All you have to do is be on our mailing list. If you’re already signed up then you will already have been sent the latest download link. If not, sign up and you will be sent the download links for volumes one and two shortly after!

The idea is that we are showcasing the talents of a variety of sample pack producers in a variety of styles. We’ve selected a number of quality samples from different packs to give you a taste of what is available.

What do you have, Gav?

We’re gonna run out of crappy name based puns eventually. Just so you know. But until then. let’s see what’s included in this month’s APG Sample Pack Showcase.

Silentstressor – Virtual Solid Bass

Silentstressor is Ondrej Grzegorz, music producer and sound designer www.attraktor.fi, who is behind label Surface Tension records www.surf10rec.net

Shattering sub-bass and booming bass samples suitable for dubstep, dnb, trip hop, techno, psytrance etc. Made with Nord Rack, Roland JP8080 and in-built synths in Logic Audio and Cubase. I always felt there is lack of deep and quality electronic dance music bass samples. Fill up your sampler, Renoise them, do it old-school way, do whatever you like.

Pornofonic – Klusterjunkk

Pornofonic Instruments is a rejection of purity, fidelity, and convention. It is the gargling soprano, the beat-boxing harpsichordist, the naked drummer on a pogo stick. A project of Emlyn Ellis Addison, Pornofonic Instruments ignores our modesty and cultivates our appetite for filth: noises in their most glorious, natural forms. Does it shake? Give it a smack.

The idea behind this collection is “controlled noise”: busy textures, resonating tones, rough, ever-changing rattles and clatter, all made controllable and playable. It’s the African bone rattle, Turkish hand cymbals, and Balinese Gamelan reimagined and reinvented using discarded junk from the consumer economy. Engrossing sounds and inspiring instruments for Kontakt.

Jason Donnelly – EDM Remix Tools (FULL PACK!!!)

Jason has been a producer of loops since 2001. He started editing loops for ACID Pro at Sonic Foundry in 1998 and started his own sample company, Peace Love Productions, in 2001. Since then produced he has hundreds of packs for companies such as Loopmasters, Soundtrack Loops, Acoustica and Retronyms to name but a few.

EDM Remix Tools is an essential set of contemporary EDM samples for starting and completing effective floor filling remixes. The idea is to give you a solid foundation of sounds that will fit almost any situation, now and in the future. EDM Remix Tools will be a useful add on to your existing loop collection as well as a strong stand alone package. It’s good for producing the many sub genres of Four On The Floor EDM including but not limited to Electro House, Progressive House, Techno, and Top 40 Dance.

Categories include Mixed Beats, Complextro Synths, Side Chained Basses, Organs, Pads, SFX, Hard Basses, Hard Chords, Triplet Synths, Leads, Kick Drums, Beat Tops, Percussion, Hi Hats, Claps, and much more. Each sound will fit perfectly in your mix and will give you a professional sound with little effort. Produced by JasonDonnelly (Dj Puzzle), one of the world’s most prolific loop producers.

318 loops, 111 Drum one-shots, and 55 synth shots. Tempo and key info is in the meta tags as well as in the file names.
